In the Classroom

Pediatric occupational therapy aids children in acquiring and maintaining the skills necessary to grow into functional and independent adults. 

Pediatric occupational therapists provide support for completing activities of daily living, coping with sensory issues, and improving fine motor function and coordination.  Our occupational therapists provide compassionate, individualized care for each child. 

Our occupational therapists are trained in assessing and treating the following:

  • Fine motor skills

  • Visual motor skills

  • Sensory processing 

  • Self-regulation

  • Self-help skills

  • Visual perception

  • Handwriting

  • Strength and endurance

  • Coordination

  • Eye- hand coordination

  • Social skills
